I am so pleased with the result and have had many
comments from neighbours that the extension looks like it has always been
part of the original cottage. You are aware of the problems experience with
the planners and that they insisted that the front elevation was matched
with reclaimed bricks and roof tiles - however, the finished brickwork and
roof looks incredible and in keeping with the original Georgian part of
the cottage.
