I am so pleased with the result and have had many comments from neighbours that the extension looks like it has always been part of the original cottage. You are aware of the problems experience with the planners and that they insisted that the front elevation was matched with reclaimed bricks and roof tiles - however, the finished brickwork and roof looks incredible and in keeping with the original Georgian part of the cottage.

I am also delighted with the side and rear elevations - the kitchen extension with the vaulted roof and Velux windows is fabulous and is exactly how I imagined - again I have had so many comments about this being an incredible kitchen space in an old cottage, creating a perfect balance between the old part of the property and the new extension.

The new retaining wall that you have built in the garden from the reclaimed bricks from the old brick built wood shed looks wonderful - I particularly like the integrated terracotta pipes that act as a wine rack - very original.

Thank you for completing this job to such a high standard and on time. I am particularly impressed with the high standard of the interior finish - all the decorating and tiling etc have finished the extension perfectly.

I also thought that you would like to know that the cottage in to be featured on a property television programme for UK Style. The film crew all loved the property!
